This project was a beautiful example how you create a beautiful kitchen that balances the bright colors of interior finishes with the splendid colors and lights that radiate in from the exterior.

While interiors are very important, building exteriors provide the first impression. So, when done properly, they demonstrate the quality of work that will be found on the interior.

Infinity Pool & Pool Pavilion

This project was an infinity pool supported by a man-made hillside, comprised of 110 concrete piers and 30 concrete retaining walls. The pool was built on 21 concrete piers, completely independent of the retaining walls. Instead of a soil back-fill, lightweight geofoam blocks were used to fill the voids and enable the engineers almost to eliminate all surcharge forces on the walls.

The pavilion constructed next to the pool utilized finishes that were a perfect complement to the pool. The finishes included an outdoor kitchen, a pair of cedar trellises, a BBQ with fine cabinetry, a fire pit, a fully enclosed glass steam room, a metal roof with skylights operated with an iPhone app, and a changing room constructed with imported Moroccan tile, to name a few of the amenities.
